Skills requirements:
oAble to prepare cable drums, lay cable underground, in culverts and confine spaces also be able to work on overhead cables clipping of pins on electrical / telecom poles or clipping of cable on walls
oHave good organisational and analytical skill capable to interpret various types of information as well as understand facts and procedures in the application of the above tasks
oAble to operate vehicles such as a cherry picker, drive trucks and other related machinery and vehicles also operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, cable locators, leakage detection devices and test equipment.

Other requirements:
oA minimum of 3 year experience in the field
oBe in possession of at least a technical qualification in telecommunications at EQF/ISCED L2 by an accredited school or in possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma
oWork outside in all types of weather
oMust be able to lift, handle and carry 80- pound ladder
oMust be able to work at heights of 3-25 ft
oMust be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout each day
oLanguage skills - ability to effectively read, write and speak fluently in English is a must
oMust have a valid driving license
