EXPERIENCED BUTCHERS / TRIMMERS

Location: Broxburn

EARN from L8.04 (trainee) to L10.12 per 1h (gross)

This is a full time permanent position, available immediately
Assistance with travel/transport and finding accommodation.

Your duties will Include:
oSafely and efficiently trim beef to specification, using a knife or by operating equipment
oAchieve throughputs, maximize yields, minimize waste, and ensure quality standards are maintained
oMaintain an in-depth knowledge of product specifications
oRemove contamination/defects from product
oWhen trimming product, aim to maximize yield and minimize waste
oUse judgement to determine the best use of product (so as not to de-value it)
oMaintain a sharp and sterile knife
oManually handle product and product in trays

Requirements
oGood English is a must
oExperience of using and maintaining sharp knife
oExperience of working in a meat production environment
