Transport Public Malta
Performance bonus of up to €600 annually
Overtime is paid at x1.5 rate (overtime is applicable when the employee exceeds 48 hours of work per week)
Public Holidays are paid at normal (x1) rate plus the hours worked at double (x2) the normal hourly rate
Employees are entitled to the statutory bonus of €512 per annum, payable quarterly
Late Duty Allowance / Night Allowance / Subsistence Allowance

Entitlements:
Vacation Leave: 24 days of vacation leave (5 day work week)
Vacation Leave: 28.8 days of vacation leave (6 day work week)
Sick Leave: 12 days (upon successful completion of probation, i.e. after six months)
Special Leave: 3 days bereavement leave / 18 weeks maternity leave / 3 days special leave for the birth of a child
Other Special Leave: 4 months unpaid parental leave


Requirements:
Must be in possession of European Category D Licence and CPC Certification (or equivalent from country of origin)
Basic spoken English (Applicants will be asked to sit for an oral language test)
Over 21 years of age
Pass a medical examination and driving assessment in Malta
Required to work early morning, late evening and weekend shifts on a roster basis which is published four weeks in advance
Applicants will be requested to sit for a driving test conducted by Transport Malta


Applicants will be requested to provide the following:

Photocopy of a valid Passport
Valid Driving Licence
3 Passport sized Photos
Clean Criminal Record (current) from country of origin (a stamped translated copy in English has to be provided as well).


Assistance for expatriates: The Company will ensure that the chosen applicants will be assisted with all logistics in relation to obtaining required documents for the Maltese tax system, residence permit scheme, social security and any other related requirements. For up to the first three months upon arrival to Malta, the Company will offer accommodation against payment of €7.50 per day for the first two weeks and €10 per day thereafter. The company reimburses up to €150 flight costs, upon successful completion of one year in service.

Taxation & Social Security Contributions: The national Insurance required for each employee in Malta falling under the salary mentioned above is of 10% on basic salary and taxation as per Maltese Legislation.
